International Delegates

     For international delegates, especially for those who will travel to the Indonesia for the first time, here are a few useful information about the Indonesia.


Visa

     In general, a foreign citizen who wishes to enter the Republic of Indonesia is required to obtain a visa. However, nationals of certain countries do not require a visa if they meet visa exemption requirements as follows:

  • Nationals of countries are exempted from visa requirements when entering Indonesia for tourism purposes. They will be permitted to stay for a period of not exceeding 30 days.
  • Nationals or countries which hold bilateral agreements with Indonesia on the exemption of visa requirements.

Weather

     The Indonesia is a tropical country, so warm weather may be expected. Participants are advised to prepare for sudden rain showers, but the weather is generally sunny all throughout the day.


Currency Information

     Currency: Rupiah (IDR; Symbol Rp)

  • Notes are in denomination of Rp 100,000, 50,000, 20,000, 10,000, 5,000, 2,000 and 1,000
  • Coins are in denomination of Rp 1,000, 500, 200, 100 and 50

Cultural and Tour Visit

     The participants will experience the following cultural activities and university visit.
